Updated November 19th 2008 - We're happy to see that the new Longboat Key Weddings website and wedding vender directory is featuring Memories by Billi in the wedding photography section of their directory.

"Lefty, the Turtle that Got Left Behind and Survived"

Ever since my friend Susan Brinson (her and her husband Mike own the "Flip Flop" company) moved back onto the island a few years ago, I've been hearing all about these turtles and the turtle watchers. 

Well, now I really understand why all the hubbub.

I just spent a week on the island and have to say THE highlight of my trip was witnessing Suzi Fox and her volunteers from "Turtle Watch" do their thing.

Be Sure To Attend The Second Annual Anna Maria Island Wedding Fair...

Anna Maria Island's first wedding festival made headlines, and the second is going to be bigger and even more exciting!

That's right. The 2nd annual Chamber of Commerce Wedding Festival, right here on Anna Maria Island, will be held on January 25th. With 40 plus local wedding merchants displaying and demonstrating their products and services, it is a must see for anyone planning a wedding in the Anna Maria Island area.
